Cole Knuble Scores Twice in Flyers’ Win Over Sabres

In Buffalo, rookie forward Cole Knuble helped the Philadelphia Flyers secure a 3-1 victory against the Buffalo Sabres with his first two NHL goals. Knuble, in just his second career game, provided the offensive spark needed to capture the win on Wednesday night. His performance marked a memorable moment as he played in front of his father, Mike Knuble, a former NHL veteran.

The first period saw Knuble net his initial NHL goal, followed by Trevor Zegras scoring on a power play to achieve a 2-0 lead for the Flyers. Despite Jason Zucker’s effort to close the gap for the Sabres in the second period, Knuble’s second goal early in the third solidified the Flyers’ lead at 3-1. Dan Vladar supported the win with 27 saves.

The Flyers’ victory in Buffalo extends their winning streak to three after a challenging start to the season. The team, alongside Knuble, will look to continue their momentum in their upcoming home game against the Anaheim Ducks.
